(KRON) -- A homicide investigation is underway after an Oakland man died from his injuries following a city shooting, Oakland police said.
Police said they responded just before 8:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Fern Street after reports of shooting and multiple ShotSpotter Activations and located the man with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim's identity has not been released.
No further details are being provided by police, and it is not clear what led to the incident.
