(BCN) -- Friday in the Bay Area calls for mostly clear and sunny skies across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime highs will be mostly in the high 60s to mid 70s on the coast, high 60s to low 70s around the bay, and low to high 70s inland. Overnight lows will be in the high 40s to low 50s.
Forecasters say dry weather and comfortable temps will continue across the Bay Area on Friday as high pressure builds over the region. The weather pattern is bringing very dry air to the region, with measurements from Oakland showing moisture levels near the 10th percentile for this time of year, according to the NWS.
High pressure over the Rockies and lower pressure along the coast have also produced gentle to moderate offshore winds. Those winds were largely overpowered by the afternoon sea breeze Thursday, forecasters say.
